Sourdough pizza group Franco Manca have secured a new site in Wimbledon which is set to open in November 2015.

Franco Manca already have 10 branches in London, including South Kensington and Tottenham Court Rd. The new 1,535 sq ft site at The Broadway, Wimbledon takes over the recently closed SAMA Asian Kitchen. There is an esitmated 60 covers for the restaurant over two floors.

Franco Manca’s David Sykes said, “We love Wimbledon Broadway, with its diverse and vibrant community; who wouldn’t want to be part that?

“If all goes well, we should open our new pizzeria around the middle of November. We can’t wait.”

Operations at Franco Manca are run by ex Chief Executive of Pizza Express David Page. The group have big plans for this year with more sites due to open setting their sites on outside London.
